I promised my mother months ago I'd make her a quilt from this line of fabric. Lucky for her, Jennifer announced her Across the Sea QAL on Monday and my mom thinks it'll make a great throw for her living room. I'm more than stoked to get started.
Found a great full size flat sheet, two pillowcases, and a brass apple desk bell at a thrift store. All vintage, all for 5 bucks.
These I scored a while back but thought I'd share. 25 cents a spool, vintage cotton thread. I couldn't not buy them at that price. Aren't they awesome?! I figure I'll put them on a shelf in my future sewing room one day, hehe.
I also figured out that if I photograph every finished Summer Sampler block, then crop them to a square, then put them all together, I won't have to keep photographing them all together repeatedly. This will be easier!
I'm really liking how that summer sampler is turning out. So pretty.
