some coasters and a doggy bag

I am a drinker by nature. By that I mean all types of liquids, water, coffee, beer, you name it! Waitstaff can rarely keep up with my beverage demands, but if I had my way they'd be refilling my glass for the third time even before bringing me a plate of food.
It seems only natural that my cups and mugs have little bitty quilts to curl up on, especially with the cold weather creeping in.
Hey Syd, recognize the multicolored floral print on top?! Yeah, it's from the lovely package you sent me, all the way from London, no less! Way to make me jump around all giddy-like and inspire me to hit the sewing machine after a bit of a dry spell.
And thanks to everyone for all the kind words and encouragement regarding Lucy. Much appreciated.
It was so nice out yesterday and she just wasn't having any more of this "crate rest" business, so I stuffed the little invalid into a messenger bag and went for a brisk walk in the park.

Linked up with {sew} modern monday!

  4. Oh, Krista, I dont know what happened but for some reason I didnt read your last post :( I am sooooo sorry. My eyes are all watery now. I really hope Lucy gets a full recovery! I'm glad you found a home for Marvin, too!
I like the idea of your linky party although I dont have a pet. I could share a cute pic of my family's cat napping in my clothes shelf. I wanna adopt a cat once I live with my hubby in the same country ;-)
    Cute coasters btw!!!
